Four dragon boat teams competed hard as the 3rd Annual Corporate Challenge was held today at the beautiful Harrison Lake in downtown Harrison Hot Springs. The Dewey Decimaters, The VLEC Wave Monkeys, The Abby Panthers and The Municipal Menace competed against one another in four very tough races.

When the dust settled and the times were added up, it was VLEC Wave Monkeys up against Municipal Menace for the Challenge Cup. With only .25 of a second separated the two teams, the VLEC Wave Monkeys were victorious. With the cup comes bragging rights for a full year. The only way to keep the cup after that it to Challenge again for it. We hope to see everyone out again next year.

The Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club is holding it's 3rd annual Corporate Challenge June 10 2007.The Corporate Challenge is a fun and exciting way to get local businesses involved in Dragon Boating.

This year we have four teams that will compete hard for the coveted Dragon Fest Challenge Cup. The Dewey Decimaters, The VLEC Wave Monkeys, The Abby Panthers and The Municipal Menace. With four practices under their belts they will compete in a true 500 meter Dragon Boat Race. Good Luck to all.
