Become A "Junior" Pioneer


The Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club is currently recruiting for a new "Junior" Dragon Boat Team. We are looking for 22 to 28 teenagers (minimum of 8 girls - mandatory) between the ages of 13 and 18 (attending school) to join one of the fastest growing water sports in the world.

You to can enjoy the excitement and adrenaline that is Dragon Boat racing. Anyone can try it, anyone can succeed. All you need is some heart and a will to learn.

Benefits of Dragon Boating include: Fun, excitement, exercise, friendships, the thrill of competition. It all starts with a commitment to get in the boat. Once you're there leave the rest up to us. We will teach you, train you, excite you, and commit to you.

Teams Gearing Up 2008

The teams are starting to gear up for the 2008 Dragon Boat season. Preparations are underway for another exciting year. All teams are looking for new paddlers to come out and experience the excitement that is Dragon Boating. A FREE Open Paddle is scheduled for March 15th 2008 at Harrison Hot Springs. If you are interested in trying out the world's fastest growing water sport please drop us a line. You won't know how much fun you can have until you try. Come have some fun.

Welcome to Harrison
 The Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club is a Non-profit Society, established in 2002. The Society is committed to assisting and overseeing activities which will encourage, promote and develop teams within the Fraser Valley for the sole purpose of Dragon Boating. Our efforts are to help all individuals (young and older) who have the desire to gain personal achievement, sportsmanship and good health through active participation in the sport of Dragon Boating. Our season runs from March to October at the beautiful Harrison Lake. Please feel free to come out and join us as we work hard, paddle fast and have fun.
